The Bank of Romney Job Description : Maintenance Manager
Position Overview : This position performs routine maintenance for all branch locations, the Community Building, and any property owned by The Bank of Romney.
Essential Job Functions : Work with management to identify and address maintenance needs; p erform monthly inspections of bank locations to document and address any safety or maintenance needs; n egotiate and coordinate with third party contract service companies; p repare / present reports to management for budgeting of anticipated projects or expenses annually; p erform duties of maintenance including basic construction, painting, changing light bulbs / filters, etc.; p erform floor maintenance (i.e. scrubbing, waxing, buffing); m aintain lawn and shrub care on Bank property to reflect a neat appearance; p erform snow removal; r ecognize and operate basic hand tools and power tools; o perate engine machines such as tractors, forklifts, skid steers, lawn mowers, weed eaters, snow blowers, power washers, chain saws, etc.; g ather and deliver supplies to all branch locations, as needed.
Competencies : Ability to prioritize tasks; a bility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; a bility to write routine reports and correspondence; a bility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; a bility to compute rate, ratio, and percent; a bility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; p ossess basic personal computer skills; p ossess basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
Preferred Education and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent; e xperience doing maintenance work in a similar environment.
Job Specifications : Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record; m ust pass background check and drug screen.
Other Duties and Responsibilities : Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals; p erform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment : While performing duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, vibration, and moderate to loud noises. The employee is often exposed to changing weather conditions, such as rain, snow, wind, etc. The employee will occasionally work above ground level where the possibility of falling exists (i.e. on ladders, rooftops, scaffolding).
Physical Requirements : This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and reaching. The employee must frequently lift and / or move items weighing up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move items weighing more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
