Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Handle guest complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for managing reservations and orders as needed.
- Support food service operations by helping with guest services during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential qualities for this role.
