Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance and Grounds Worker to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetics and functionality of our indoor and outdoor spaces at The Barn at Stoney Hills. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in general maintenance and landscape maintenance.
While experience is highly desired, training is available!!!
Responsibilities
- Utilize power tools effectively for various repair, maintenance and landscaping tasks.
- Maintain and repair driveways and walkways throughout the property.
- Weekly cleaning and repair of indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Irrigate and maintain gardens, ensuring plants are healthy and thriving.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, and weeding.
- Maintain and treat ponds for various weeds.
- Conduct weekly bug control.
- Stain and paint miscellaneous interior and exterior projects.
- Execute snow plowing duties during winter months to ensure safe access to facilities.
- Monitor the condition of grounds and report any issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Familiarity with operating power tools and machinery related to grounds maintenance.
- Experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Strong understanding of general maintenance duties and garden care techniques.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- While experience is highly desired, training is available!!!

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.50 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
