Job Responsibilities
- Compensation (Range) : $38-$41.00 / hour : Salary :
- The OBD DDV Test Engineer is responsible for executing assigned OBD diagnostic demonstration programs which generate OBD emission results which are submitted to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to support OBD certification.
- Ordering test vehicles.
- Managing vehicle buildup, testing, and de-instrumentation.
- Generating test requests in the corporate test request system.
- Completing DDV testing following internally published best practices.
- Taking Vehicle Diagnostic scans for data collection.
- Facilitate the investigation of issues found during testing.
- Analyzing test data to ensure the data meets requirements.
- Document test results per process and review of results with colleagues.
