Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for clients.
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and support services.
- Conduct research to stay current on best practices in the field of social work.
- Advocate for clients' rights and ensure their needs are met within the healthcare system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related field.
- Valid LPC or LCSW licensure or certification required.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
- Experience in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Proficiency in case management and coordinating care for clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong crisis intervention skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
