The Bee Hotel and The Holbrook Hotel are the only two boutique properties in Danville, each offering a unique guest experience while sharing a common commitment to personalized service, thoughtful hospitality, and community connection. We are seeking a hands-on, service driven Dual Operations Manager to support the daily success of both hotels.
Position Overview:As the Operations Manager, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations across both The Bee and The Holbrook. You’ll oversee front-of-house and back-of-house functions—including Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering—while serving as a collaborative partner to Food & Beverage and Sales teams.
This role is perfect for a hands-on hospitality leader ready to drive results, elevate guest satisfaction, and develop team members across departments. In addition, you will serve in a rotating Manager on Duty (MOD) schedule for both properties, typically one to two weekends per month, shared with the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:Provide direct leadership and daily oversight of operations for both hotels
Serve as MOD on rotating weekends (1–2 per month), covering both properties
Support and supervise Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments
Cover shifts in all departments as needed
Maintain a visible presence on property, leading by example and addressing guest concerns in real time
Partner with the General Manager and department leaders to execute service goals and standards
Assist in employee coaching, onboarding, and development to create a performance-driven culture
Monitor inventory and cleanliness standards, ensuring both properties meet visual and operational expectations
Support scheduling, labor management, and staffing solutions
Collaborate with F&B and Sales to execute events, special packages, and VIP guest experiences
Conduct property walkthroughs and regular inspections with department leaders to ensure preventative maintenance and guest-readiness
Provide input on budgeting, forecasting, and operational strategy
Take ownership of guest satisfaction scores and work cross-functionally to enhance the overall experience
Support all departments as needed to ensure continuity of operations, particularly during high-demand periods
3–5 years of hotel or hospitality leadership experience
Prior supervisory or management experience required
Strong operational knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, and general hotel services
Flexible availability, including the ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to problem-solve in real time, multitask, and adapt to a dynamic environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with hotel PMS system, roomMaster, is a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Passionate about guest service and team development
Must pass background check
