Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance
- Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding programs
- Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and candidate records
Employee Relations and Culture
- Support leaders in HR-related matters, including policy interpretation and employment law compliance
- Handle employee complaints, investigations, and documentation with appropriate confidentiality
- Create and implement culture and engagement initiatives
- Contribute to internal communications and employee newsletters
Benefits and Compliance
- Process benefits enrollments and maintain accurate records
- Handle workers' compensation claims processing
- Respond to unemployment claims and employment verifications
- Prepare HR documentation including adverse action letters, FMLA notifications, and employment verification letters
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
HRIS and Documentation
- Maintain and update HRIS systems
- Conduct monthly HR audits
- Manage employee records and ensure proper documentation
- Generate and analyze HR metrics and compliance reports
General HR Administration
- Coordinate all aspects of the off-boarding process
- Assist employees with HR-related inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures
- Support HR Manager with daily operational tasks
- Participate in developing and implementing HR systems, goals, and objectives
Additional Responsibilities
- Assists with payroll preparation and processing
- Assists with processing of 401k and HSA contributions
- Completes clinical staff credentialing
- Assists in analysis and evaluation of Human Resources-related reports
- Updates human resources standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assists with yearly audit and update of job descriptions
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Required
- 2-4 years of Human Resources experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws (federal and state)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with employees at all levels
- Experience with HRIS and HR technology platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Preferred
- Experience in medical/behavioral/mental health/therapy-related organization
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with benefits administration and compliance

Position Type and Schedule
This is a full-time onsite position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
