Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR team. The HR Director is responsible for overseeing all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, benefits, workers' compensation, and HRIS management. This leadership role plays a vital part in supporting our staff and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all recruitment and talent acquisition efforts
- Supervise, mentor, and support the HR team
- Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (Joint Commission, CBH, DOH, AOA)
- Manage onboarding, retention, and compensation programs
- Administer workers' compensation claims and reporting
- Lead employee relations, handle investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions
- Manage HRIS systems to support better business outcomes
- Partner with executive leadership to drive HR strategy and organizational success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role (healthcare setting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, HRIS systems, workers’ compensation, and employee relations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience in behavioral health or long-term care is a plus
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
