Job Summary
The Education Coordinator plays a critical role in designing and implementing staff training programs to ensure professional growth and compliance with required competencies. This role involves planning, developing, facilitating, and evaluating training initiatives, while also providing administrative support to the AVP of Staff Development, Training, and Innovation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement educational programs and staff training initiatives.
- Assist in the planning, development, and facilitation of required staff training.
- Update course materials and prepare the monthly training schedule.
- Monitor enrollment, attendance, and compliance, providing updates to supervisors.
- Perform administrative duties to support the AVP of Staff Development, Training, and Innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of experience providing presentations to groups and handling high-level administrative duties.

- Energetic, positive, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to deescalate volatile situations and manage difficult behavior.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and collaborate effectively with internal staff and external trainers.
- Proficiency in training platforms and techniques, including online survey tools.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Teams, and Survey Monkey.
- Strong typing, grammar, and attention to detail.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Requires regular interaction with staff, trainers, and leadership teams.
- Must be able to conduct virtual and in-person training sessions.
- Some standing, walking, and lifting of training materials may be required.
