We are seeking a career-minded individual to join our supervisory team.
Applicant must be able to work in a production environment, understand industrial related equipment and maintain/develop efficiencies/processes. Management experience preferred. Extensive training provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists Production Supervisor in planning, managing and executing production operations
- Coordinates and plans production priorities, workflow and schedule
- Identifies and reports operational and maintenance problems to prevent production delays
- Develops or updates standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations
- Ensures that all equipment, materials and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes
- Addresses employee concerns and complaints in professional manner
- Assists in interviewing, hiring and training new employees
- Manages annual performance reviews, appraisals, and promotions for employees
- Manages production-related tasks on company data base
- Optimizes production operations to meet quality and performance standards
- Assists in documenting all work instructions and procedures
- Ensures safety measures and procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards
- Ensures production processes are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Determines resource requirements and work allocation for production operation
- Forklift experience a plus but not necessary; will train on-site if applicable
