Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to proper food handling and sanitation standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including culinary specialties and beverage pairings.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain high standards of quality.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be trained on-site.
- A passion for culinary arts and sales is highly desirable.
