Job Description
The Benchmark Company, a boutique investment bank seeking a Capital Markets Analyst to add to its investment banking team. Primary responsibilities will include supporting the Head of Capital Markets in managing aspects of the Syndicate deals, preparing client presentations, and helping to organize deal-related events, materials and conferences. The ideal candidate must be able to manage heavy workloads with compressed timetables in an organized and efficient manner. The candidate will be exposed to capital and privates market financing as well as advisory roles in a fast paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities
• Supporting the Head of Capital Markets in all aspects of executing Benchmark’s banking transactions
• Creating and maintaining accounts and records related to the order book
• Collaborating with the Operations teams for account openings and management
• Organizing materials and schedules for roadshows
• Preparing pitchbooks for clients
• Helping to manage and facilitate logistics for the microcap conference
Qualifications
• Received U.S. undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
• Maintains SIE, Series 7, 63 and 79 qualifications (or be willing to obtain these)
• An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent communication and organization skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to be a self-motivated learner in a face-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple workflows with competing deadlines
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
