Holiday Season Bakery Assistant

Job runs from October 28 - December 22.
With Thanksgiving time off from 11/26-12/1

```The Beneficial Bakery Duties```
- Arrive on time and work in tandem with epic team Tuesday - Thursday 11:30/12-4 or Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (depending on bakery schedules) and two Saturdays per month from 7-11am

- Dishwashing and putting clean dishes away.
- Help clean, dust, sweep and mop. Clean floor mats.
- Individually wrapping the bakes made
- Help the bakers prepare and bake a variety of gluten-free, allergen-free bakery items, including breads, sourdough, bagels, english muffins, pastries, cakes, muffins.
- Prep ingredients with care and attention to detail. Includes measuring with commercial scales.
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of baked goods

```Experience```
- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment is preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, including mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking.
- Familiarity with bread baking techniques and tools
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough dividers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Hours:
Mid-morning weekday shifts (11:30/12-4), occasional Saturday (7am-11am) with availability for more hours if flexible. Tuesday - Thursday 10/10:30-4 or Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (depending on bakery schedules) and two Saturdays per month from 7-11am
- Sundays off, every other Saturday off
