We are looking for an experienced Fixture Project Manager Team Leader to join our team. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world-class products to our customers. You will oversee and manage the Fixture Project Managers (FPMs) across multiple account teams. This role will be pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, consistent workflows, and team mentorship within The Bernard Group’s fixture production process. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Fixture Development Team Leader (FDTL), account teams, and department directors to ensure seamless execution of fixture production projects while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Shift available: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:
- a Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in fixture design and engineering
- a minimum of 3 years of management/leadership experience
- are technically savvy, proficient in or ready to learn Gmail, Google Docs, Excel, TBG Systems, various software and hardware
On top of that you must:
- have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills including demonstrated listening skills and the ability to present ideas and thoughts concisely and effectively both internally and outside the organization
- be technically savvy, proficient in or ready to learn Gmail, Google Docs, Excel, TBG Systems, various software and hardware
- sit at a desk for extended periods and perform long hours of work at a computer
- move around the office areas repeatedly throughout the day
In this position you'll:
- manage a team of Fixture Project Managers across multiple account teams, providing day-to-day guidance, support, and mentorship
- identify skill gaps within the team and implement targeted training programs to improve team capabilities
- foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to promote engagement and professional growth. Monitor FPMs' performance to ensure adherence to production timelines, quality standards, and project budgets
- serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational challenges, working with internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly
- collaborate with the FDPM Team Leader and account teams to align priorities and ensure handoffs between development and production teams are seamless. Oversee adherence to established workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency and quality across all teams.
- provide feedback on current processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- participate in cross-functional discussions to align fixture production processes with organizational goals. Conduct regular check-ins with FPMs to review project progress, address challenges, and provide coaching
- support FPMs in achieving their KPIs by identifying performance issues and providing actionable strategies for improvement
- facilitate regular performance reviews and assist in setting team and individual goals. Partner with FDPM Team Leader to ensure alignment between the development and production phases of projects
- communicate effectively with account teams to anticipate needs and proactively address potential bottlenecks
- act as a liaison between FPMs and department directors to ensure alignment on priorities and resource allocation
- perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management

Compensation Range: $90,000 - 110,000 annually
*Range reflects our good-faith assessment of our hiring range for this role based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
