Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual screen printing presses to complete customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Mix and match inks to achieve the desired color and ensure print consistency.
- Load garments and position them accurately to maintain print alignment and quality.
- Inspect printed products for defects or inconsistencies and make adjustments as needed.
- Clean screens, tools, and equipment after use to maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with production staff and follow order instructions to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a high standard of quality control throughout the printing process.
- Troubleshoot press or print issues and recommend solutions.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards while working with inks, solvents, and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of manual screen printing experience.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of screen printing techniques, ink types, screen mesh counts, and curing methods.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow design instructions, ensuring high-quality prints.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Teamwork: Collaborative and dependable team player with good communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Quick thinker with the ability to troubleshoot equipment or printing issues.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple orders efficiently.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with embroidery, heat press, or digital printing is a plus but not required.
