About the Position
The Birchwood Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead our dining services and food production. This key leadership role requires strong organizational skills, hospitality industry experience, and a proven track record in managing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversees daily food & beverage operations, including management of the point-of-sale system and forecasting operation needs.
• Assists with dining, banquet, and bartending service as needed, working closely with front desk staff to manage reservations and update menus.
• Develops and implements training programs to enhance staff experience and performance, fostering a positive and enjoyable work environment.
• Coordinates with kitchen and other departments to ensure efficient service and member/guest satisfaction, monitoring employee records to minimize overtime and keep labor costs within budget.
• Addresses member and guest complaints, keeping the General Manager apprised of situations and corrective action taken.
• Develops operating budgets for departmental revenue outlets and monitors sales and cost goals, ensuring standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are consistently followed.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in Private Clubs in a management role required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Fine dining experience and strong beverage knowledge required, with food safety certification and alcoholic beverage certifications also required.
• Strong understanding of quality food and beverage operations, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong desire to provide optimal member service.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts as needed, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Compensation commensurate with experience, salary from $72,000.00 Bonus per year.
