Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Biscuit Maker to join our team in the food industry. As a Biscuit Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking delicious biscuits to meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: - Prepare biscuit dough according to recipes and production guidelines - Roll out and cut biscuit dough using knives or other tools - Bake biscuits in ovens, ensuring they are cooked to perfection - Decorate biscuits with icing or other toppings as required - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times - Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as necessary - Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment - Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient production flow - Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or bakery setting - Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent knife skills for cutting dough and shaping biscuits - Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required - Strong teamwork and communication skills Preferred Skills: - Experience in cake decorating or other culinary techniques - Knowledge of catering or large-scale food production Join our team as a Biscuit Maker and contribute to creating delicious baked goods that will delight our customers.
