Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Resident Engagement Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for our residents, ensuring their physical, mental, and emotional well-being as well as overseeing dining services (serving/cleaning).
Duties:
- Develop and implement a diverse activities program that caters to the interests and needs of residents
- Manage schedules and calendars to organize events, outings, and in-house activities
- Plan and execute special events, parties, and holiday celebrations
- Input and keep current the Resident Profiles and Photos in Engagement Software
Requirements:
- Previous experience in providing Activities or a related field within an assisted living or nursing home setting
- Proficiency in event planning and schedule management
- Knowledge of recreational therapy principles and techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with elderly populations
