Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal assistants / Caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need. As a PA/ Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting with daily activities and providing companionship. Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring the health and well-being of residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in resident's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide end-of-life care and support for residents in hospice care
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a PA / Caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of assisted living and nursing home systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
- Valid driver's license
Job Type: Part-time
