Job Title: Store Associate – The Blind and Shutter Store

About the Position:
As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in our day-to-day operations, supporting the sales, service, and installation sides of the business. You will interact with customers, manage administrative tasks, and ensure the smooth functioning of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Answer store phone calls and assist customers with inquiries and scheduling needs.
- Schedule in-home customer appointments for the sales team.
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers, providing product information and setting up appointments for in-home consultations.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Use QuickBooks to manage basic accounting tasks.
- Check in inventory and prepare accurate work orders for the installation team.
- Write detailed and accurate customer quotes.
- Store Maintenance:
- Keep the store organized, clean, and inviting for customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of customer service or retail experience preferred.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with basic computer systems and scheduling tools.
