What are the responsibilities and job description for the Primary (Kinder-2nd Grade) Instructional Assistant position at The Bloomington Project School?
This position provides an opportunity to work with experienced, exemplary teachers in a multi-age, project based, and literacy focused environment. The instructional assistant will gain experiences and responsibilities with reader's workshop, writer's workshop, various math programs, small group interventions, and project based curriculum. Some available roles are regular classroom assistants, inclusion support, and Title I positions focused on interventions for literacy and math. This role will involve supporting our youngest learners, Kindergarten through 2nd grade. The Instructional Assistant will serve in supervision, instructional support, and some clerical roles.
