What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Tennis Pro position at The Boar's Head Resort?
JOB OVERVIEW
Provide tennis lessons and coach Sports Club members and Inn guests. Assist in the Pro Shop or on court maintenance when needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Maintain a positive attitude towards members, Resort guests, staff, job tasks and The Boar's Head philosophy.
- Stay on the leading edge of progress in tennis coaching and tennis equipment.
- Solve problems quickly and efficiently in both The Boar's Head Sports Club and the guests' best interests.
- Attend all staff meetings and other meetings and/or trainings requested by management.
- Maintain a reputation for integrity and reliability.
- Promote the sale of tennis racquets and other Pro Shop items.
- Promote Sports Club memberships and programs.
- Assist Tournament Director and Tennis Professional and Director of Tennis with court maintenance.
- Follow the "clean as you go" policy.
- Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned.
