Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and beverages while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or other point-of-sale systems.
- Prepare and serve food items while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and assist guests with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that each guest feels valued and well taken care of.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant, nightclub, or similar environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, and food safety regulations is essential.
- Experience with Aloha POS or OpenTable systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
