Brand Manager
Location: On-site Madison, WI

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of marketing experience in the CPG industry, preferably with a strong background in data analytics, marketing program execution, and packaging innovation. Skilled in using Nielsen, IRI, or SPINS data, and can confidently manage cross-functional projects from concept to execution.
This person is both a big-picture thinker and detail-oriented executor, capable of managing budgets, leading seasonal campaigns, and driving growth initiatives across various channels—including digital, shopper marketing, and Amazon. Strong communication, project management, and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze consumer/consumption data to monitor health of business and identify insights to drive strategy and direction
- Demonstrate strong understanding of key P&L drivers for the portfolio, especially when evaluating new formats, channels, and packaging configurations
- Partner with Sales, Shopper & Customer Marketing to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities at retail
- Manage the business day-to-day, including budgets and serving as a point person for the communications team on execution of seasonal brand campaigns, and packaging and marketing collateral updates
- Develop and execute marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share
- Plan and oversee execution of promotional activities including shopper marketing, digital/social, PR, Amazon and more
- Analyze marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness and impact over time
- Partner with a cross-functional team, develop, test, and execute product and packaging innovation in line with brand strategies
- Assist in deployment of marketing plans and packaging updates; work with external agencies as well as cross-functional teams on creative development and logistics
- Steward both big picture strategy and executional details, including identifying areas for optimization
- Manage key marketing projects, including, but not limited to: Packaging- Work with procurement and co-manufacturing teams to develop new packaging formats and configurations for new channels/customers. Track & execute packaging changes for consistency across the line and manage processes according to packaging production timelines
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA highly preferred, ideally with a marketing emphasis
- 5 years brand management experience preferably in the CPG space
- Proficiency with data analytics, innovation, packaging development, and market research processes
- Experience working with SPINS, IRI or Nielsen data

Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
