Spa Director (10 yrs experience)

The Director of Spa will oversee the day-to-day operations of three luxury day spas, ensuring that each location delivers exceptional guest experiences, achieves financial targets, and maintains the highest standards in service, cleanliness, and brand consistency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in multi-site management, and a passion for wellness and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of three spa locations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement standardized operational procedures across all spas to maintain consistency in guest experience and service quality.
- Monitor facility maintenance and ensure that all equipment and amenities are in excellent working condition.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of spa managers and staff to uphold the brand's values and service standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to support on-site managers and address operational needs.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, train, and retain top spa talent.
- Develop performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews with spa managers.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage annual budgets for each spa, including revenue, expenses, and profitability goals.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve revenue streams, such as retail sales, membership programs, and special promotions.
- Analyze key performance metrics and present regular reports to senior management.
Guest Experience
- Ensure that all spas deliver outstanding guest experiences by maintaining high service standards, responding to feedback, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle escalated guest concerns with professionalism and a focus on resolution.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop guest engagement strategies and loyalty programs.
Marketing & Business Development
- Partner with the marketing team to design and execute promotions, events, and campaigns that drive traffic and revenue.
- Develop strategic partnerships with local businesses, hotels, and wellness brands to expand the spa's client base.
- Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate best practices to keep the spas competitive and innovative.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in spa management
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets and improving guest satisfaction.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, and operational analysis.
Preferred:
- Experience working with luxury spa brands or resorts.
- Familiarity with spa software and booking systems.
