Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Materials Management & Transportation Manager to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama .

Position Responsibilities :

Shapes a positive and safe culture across Materials Management, Production Control, and Transportation operations for Boeing in Alabama

Develops leaders and individual contributors through coaching, education, assignments, empowerment, and knowledge transfer

Conveys clear expectations and creates a constructive balance of recognition, accountability, and consistency

Sets organizational vision and champions transformation activities that elevate operational stability

Drives process improvement focused on efficiency / affordability, inventory management, and warehouse integration

Leads / promotes systematic problem solving and critical decision making

Collaborates with peers across The Boeing Company to benchmark, develop, and share best practices

Prioritizes resources to achieve business imperatives across a diverse product portfolio

Grows relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

Bachelor’s degree or higher

More than 10 years of experience performing in a leadership role, including establishing business and / or functional process policies / strategies, objectives, and management / ownership of associated risks

More than 5 years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and / or Supply Chain functions in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

More than 10 years of experience with Materials Management and / or Supply Chain business systems

Master’s degree or higher

Travel :

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range : $150,450 - $203,550
