The Administrative Assistant will serve as an ambassador for The Boldt Company by being the first point of contact for visitors and guests. This position will provide administrative support and related services crafted to improve operating efficiency.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to optimally communicate is required. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds.
The working condition of this position requires the employee to work inside an office environment. The environment for which this position functions may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.

The Administrative Assistant will serve as an ambassador for The Boldt Company by being the first point of contact for visitors and guests. This position will provide administrative support and related services crafted to improve operating efficiency.
What You Get To Do
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as copying, filing, and mailing as directed by management team.
- Prepare and process invoices using process automation software.
- Prepare letters, memos, emails, other correspondence, etc.
- Coordinate the corporate mailing program as well as act as primary liaison between The Boldt Company and mail/packaging vendors.
- Prepare the mail operations center for conducting the day’s business.
- Sort mail as well as process overnight deliveries.
- Prepare required internal reports as it pertains to mail and package usage, trends, etc.
- Monitor inventory and order office supplies.
- Ensure meeting rooms are set-up with proper equipment, materials and supplies. Order and setup food and beverages. Test and assist with technology required for meetings. Clean up after meetings.
- Greet visitors with a friendly and effective manner.
- Effectively use telephone, email, and other forms of communication to present a quality-oriented image where every customer is treated in a consistent, courteous, and professional manner.
- Assist employees in miscellaneous inquiries or needs.
- Perform special projects as assigned. This may include projects for human resources, finance, or the president’s office.
- A high school degree is required. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least two years of administrative experience required.
- Intermediate Microsoft O365 knowledge required
- A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.
