What you get to do :
- Plan and supervise the work of our field employees, subcontractors, and trade partners, including construction methods, staffing levels, material quantities, equipment, power sources, and work schedules.
- Assist project teams during preconstruction with scheduling, site logistics, and presentations. Make improvements to the schedule as needed.
- Develop cohesive teams to ensure work is installed in compliance with approved documents, established schedules, and client expectations.
- Communicate issues (accidents, inspections, job site difficulties) with the project team in a timely manner.
- Resolve construction problems, complaints, and grievances within the workforce as needed. Assist Labor Relations in maintaining communications with unions.
- Participate in Project Readiness planning and implement productivity tracking.
- Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are current.
- Participate in master schedule development; work with project owners, management, and subcontractors as required.
- Monitor jobsite document controls including daily reports, quality programs, punch lists, schedule updates, payroll, and field issues.
- Help identify potential budget problems and develop contingency plans.
- Resolve outstanding testing and inspection issues.
- Know project specifications, contracts, and confirm alignment with quality specifications.
- Participate in recruitment of staff, including potential superintendents or foremen.
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and secure trust from team members and clients.
- Spend significant time on-site providing leadership and oversight of field operations.
- Manage and forecast field General Conditions and Requirements to maintain budget.
- Review monthly billings related to Work-in-Place (WIP), payrolls, material invoices, and trade partner pay applications.
- Maintain strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements.
- Create an environment where team members can learn and grow.

Physical requirements and working conditions :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to position objects and operate tools or controls. The employee regularly moves up to 20 pounds and occasionally moves up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to travel and frequently performs work on-site at construction work sites. Specific abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $146,000 - $195,000 per year, dependent on various job-related factors.
