We are currently hiring Instrumentation Tech , Brewing in Breinigsville, PA
The Instrumentation Tech main responsibilities is to serves as an electrical/controls resource to assigned production area. Requires a high level of electrical knowledge, including but not limited to the responsibilities listed below. Candidates must be a self-starter willing to accept “operational responsibility” as well as willing to work any shift including weekends.

- Follow plant policies in accordance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA 70E, Lockout/tag out/tryout safety rules and confine entry regulations.
- Coworker will respond as initial point of contact for electrical/control diagnostic troubleshooting prior to escalation.
- Conduct thorough and efficient electrical troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and repair of all machinery and process system malfunctions.
- Diagnose and repair equipment relative to assigned area. May include (but not limited to):VFD control/related systems, motors, breakers, switches, starters, relays, timers, photo/ultrasonic sensors, level and pressure switches, and power supplies.PLC programs, I/O modules, and other common industrial communication and control systems.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Overhaul process pumps, automatic control valves, sensors, positioners, actuators, compressors, electrical AC/DC troubleshooting, and related systems.
- Maintain accurate records and data.
- other shifts and/or overtime as needed which may also require weekend
What Ingredients You’ll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to complete company-issued electrical qualification and NFPA 70e certification
- Comprehensive understanding and optimization of PLC controls (Allen Bradley highly preferred)
- Knowledge of industrial control software systems and interfaces
- Experience in the installation and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment required
- Read and interpret Process Diagrams, P&ID, OEM manuals and diagrams
- Safe and proper use of test meter to measure various voltages, AC & DC systems
- Working knowledge of 120VAC and 24VDC Control Systems
- Working knowledge of 480V and 277V Systems
- Working knowledge of electrical power distribution (5kV & 480VAC)
- Working with high voltage switchgears and perform medium and high voltage switching a plus
