Position Overview:
As a Nurse at our Wellness Center, you will provide nursing care, support, and wellness-focused practices to our older and disabled residents. Your expertise will play a vital role in improving their overall health and wellbeing. We are looking for someone who is not only qualified and experienced but also passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct health assessments and develop individual wellness/service plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the health status of residents, adjusting care as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in developing and implementing service plans and wellness goals with residents.
- Support and educate residents and their families in managing health conditions and available community resources.
- Advocate for the needs and preferences of residents within the housing community.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation and service logs for individuals and groups.
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the State (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse).
- Experience working with older and disabled populations preferred.
- Strong understanding of wellness practices and holistic health approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must carry personal liability insurance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
