Responsibilities
- Review purchase requests, source products, and negotiate pricing.
- Process vendor bids and purchase orders, providing detailed pricing information.
- Prioritize orders and work with hotel departments to research new product needs.
- Maintain the ordering management system and review price variances.
- Track orders, communicate delivery updates to departments, and confirm quality assurance and brand compatibility.
- Collaborate with management and warehouse logistics team for on-property supply replenishment.
- Forecast operational needs, including processing capital purchases and coordinating with the project management team for capital work throughout the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; preferred
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to analyze pricing variances.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments and suppliers.
- Proficiency in using ordering management systems and software for procurement activities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
