Job Summary
This role involves providing exceptional patient care through the primary care medical home model. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science in Medicine, in Physician Assistant studies from an educational institution approved by the Florida Department of Health, and will possess strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to speak and understand the English language effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage acute, episodic outpatient care and health maintenance needs
- Demonstrate competent skills in therapeutic, cost-effective pharmacologic administration and management
- Develop and implement formal and informal teaching plans for patients, families, staff, and community
Requirements
- Clear and active Florida Physician Assistant licensure
- 3 years' experience of related clinical experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
