Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Worker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the overall efficiency of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and that our guests receive high-quality meals in a timely manner.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support chefs and other kitchen staff during service by providing assistance as needed.
- Stock supplies and ingredients as required to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped for meal preparation.
- Participate in inventory management by reporting low stock levels to supervisors.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
