The Program Specialist is a dynamic and mission-driven professional responsible for coordinating and implementing programs that align with The BRidge Agency’s commitment to community and youth development. This role involves managing program activities, fostering partnerships, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to meet the needs of marginalized communities. Key responsibilities include overseeing program logistics, tracking outcomes, facilitating resource connections, and supporting participants’ holistic development. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and skilled in community engagement, with a passion for creating positive change and advancing equity.


Responsibilities

Program Implementation: Coordinate and oversee the execution of programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and addressing the unique needs of marginalized communities.

Participant Engagement: Foster strong relationships with program participants by providing support, resources, and encouragement to promote their holistic development and success.

Partnership Collaboration: Work closely with community partners, schools, and organizations to build strong networks, expand program reach, and ensure effective resource connections.

Data Management and Reporting: Collect, manage, and analyze program data to track outcomes, assess effectiveness, and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Event Coordination: Plan and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community events that align with program objectives and engage participants meaningfully.

Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure program activities meet organizational standards, comply with grant requirements, and adhere to best practices in community and youth development.


Qualifications

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, community engagement, or a related role, preferably within nonprofit or youth-serving organizations.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in data management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and program evaluation tools. Familiarity with grant reporting is a plus.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, including participants, partners, and stakeholders.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to build relationships, foster collaboration, and work effectively in a team setting.

Mission-Driven: Passion for community development, youth advocacy, and advancing equity in underserved populations.

Flexibility: Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends to support program activities and events.

Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt to challenges and ensure program success.

Certifications (preferred): Training or certifications in trauma-informed care, youth development, or related areas.
