What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bridge Kids Director | SH position at The Bridge Church?
OVERVIEW
The Bridge Church is a multisite church in Middle Tennessee that exists to be with Jesus and become like Him - for the sake of the world. In our community, 0-10 is the most populous age range; this dynamic, coupled with our vision to reach as many possible people with the message of the Gospel, has created a growing need for a Kids Director to pour into leaders and equip them to bring the Gospel to children.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Bridge Kids Director will be responsible for creating, overseeing, and improving all area’s of Bridge Kids. This role requires a passion for the mission of Kids Ministry, but more importantly, a desire to equip parents as the primary disciple-er of their home.

- Fulfill the membership requirements of The Bridge (commit to model joyful generosity by tithing)
- Fulfill the character qualities of a deacon as outlined in Scripture
- Ability to see and articulate the leadership behaviors of The Bridge
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong relational capacity that others want to work with and great communication skills
- Excellent organizational leader, with a driven personality that thrives in high-pressure situations
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and execute the vision for the Bridge Kids Ministry, including:
- Leadership of Spring Hill Bridge Kids Staff
- Build and guard culture with key volunteers (Volunteer Staff, Coaches, Coordinators, etc.)
- Partnership with parents to equip them to be the primary discipler of their children
- Maintain a fun and safe environment for all kids
- Recruit, develop, and care for all Spring Hill Kids Ministry volunteers
- Act as the ministry champion for all aspects of Bridge Kids and resource other locations
- Ownership and quality control of Bridge Kids Online (YouTube, Social Media, Parent communication emails)
- Oversight of all Bridge Kids areas including, Elementary, Early Childhood, and PreK classrooms
- Maintain and build organizational processes and systems (volunteer assimilation and training, check-in & follow-up, summer intern program, child dedications and baptism, childcare system for Spring Hill events, etc.)
- Manage the Bridge Kids budget for the Spring Hill Campus
- Oversee curriculum process
- All other duties as assigned
WHAT A WIN LOOKS LIKE: Kids have great experience and want to come back. Parents are resourced and equipped to disciple their children. Healthy volunteer/child ratios in each environment. Foster an encouraging and empowering environment for kids staff and volunteers.
SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday
HOURS: 45 (must be available for special events & meetings, etc as needed)
COMPENSATION: TBD
