About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage projects from sale through manufacture to delivery in our building materials space. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects in the window or door industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for assigned accounts, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and proactively following up on late orders with estimated times of arrival (ETAs).
- Support sales efforts to maintain current sales and build future sales, communicating preferred carriers to shipping departments and fielding quality complaints.
- Work with customers to determine project scope and requirements via the Sample Project Form process, logging and tracking project status in Monday CRM and communicating updates to the team.
- Manage new product/project processes, including leading New Product Meetings and managing incoming purchase orders, internal special orders, and requisitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Business, or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years' work-related experience in the building materials industry, with a working knowledge of doors and windows.
- Proven experience in managing customer relationships, reporting, order entry, problem resolution, and print program management.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or other ordering systems.
- Above-average organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
