The Information Technology Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s technology landscape, driving digital transformation while ensuring IT capabilities align with business objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to shape enterprise architecture and define the technology roadmap.
Additionally, this position is accountable for developing and executing the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring that products deliver maximum value to both customers and the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and business insight to guide products from conception to launch and continuous improvement. These products include a suite of custom applications built primarily on a modern Microsoft/Azure stack.

Responsibilities:
  1. Technology Strategy:
    • Develop and execute enterprise-wide technology strategy aligned with business goals, incorporating emerging technologies and industry trends.
    • Oversee & delegate the management, implementation and usability of information and computer technologies for the benefit of the Company’s business operations.
    • Remain abreast of evolving trends in IT and recommend changes in equipment, systems and processes as necessary to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  2. Enterprise Architecture:
    • Lead enterprise architecture governance, ensuring technology decisions support scalability, integration, and business agility.
    • Develop policies and standards aimed at minimizing costs related to acquisition, implementation and operation of IT systems.
  3. Solution Platform Strategy:
    • Direct the evolution of core platforms, cloud infrastructure, and application portfolio while optimizing technical debt management.
    • Recommend technological solutions to ensure continual development of strategy and functionality.
  4. Cybersecurity and Risk Management:
    • Oversee cybersecurity strategy and risk management framework to protect enterprise assets and maintain compliance.
  5. Vendor Management:
    • Drive and manage strategic vendor relationships, service providers, and technology partnerships to ensure the timely delivery of IT products and services, cost effectiveness, and maintain competitive advantage.
  6. Team Leadership:
    • Build and mentor high-performing technology teams to deliver solutions and support which support business objectives while fostering innovation and a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Ensure that plans and policies are understood and administered by the management team.
    • Use strategic objectives as basis for establishing performance measures and quality assurance.
  7. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Understand market needs, trends, and competition to identify opportunities and define the product's value proposition.
