What you will be doing:
- Smiles and welcome guests in support of Fly Fish Camp culture and sense of adventure.
- Greets and escorts guests to their assigned cabin(s) and other areas of Fly Fish Camp while verbally acquainting them to the property and shares details of our facilities and amenities within the guest cabin areas in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Lends a hand as necessary with the delivery and retrieval of luggage and other guest including letters, boxes, gifts, amenities, flowers, and other items as the needs arise.
- Assists with general landscape duties to include but not limited to clearing snow/leaves, mowing, watering and up keeping lawns, roads, and flowerpots.
- Answers guest questions while providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Directs guests to appropriate areas for Fly Fishing Camp activities and dining.
- Assists with the display, organization, execution of the activities.
- Performs other activities as needed to ensure the smooth operations of Fly Fishing Camp.
- Ensures appropriate follow through on guest requests and assigned tasks.
- Performs with various housekeeping duties and requests to maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of guest accommodations, bathroom facilities, and communal areas. These duties include but are not limited to stripping beds, clearing trash, replenishing supplies, cleaning public areas and structures with specific focus on the cabins, lodge, dining room, decks, restrooms, hallways, rugs, furniture, draperies, floors, stairways, and communal bathroom facilities.
- While performing the duties of this position, the Employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The Employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), work in high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The Employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Services tables and performs set up, replenishing, and clean up before, during and after the breakfast and lunch meal period.
- Maintain adequate inventories of cleaning supplies, terry, linen, and bathrobes along with the delivery, collection, and transport of clean and soiled linens, terry, and robes.
- Operates laundry and related equipment for processing linen, terry, robes, and cleaning materials.
- Ensures housekeeping equipment and tools are properly maintained and functional. Reports all necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
What we are looking for:
- High school or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training. Prior Housekeeping experience in the hospitality field preferred.
- Ability to use a smart phone device and equipment utilized in Housekeeping and present in guest rooms.
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
