Senior Property Accountant Job Description
A boutique real estate firm located in the Midtown Tampa Development is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join its Accounting Department. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare monthly financial statement packages
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation in Yardi
- Prepare annual CAM/Real Estate Tax Escalations
- Enter lease abstracts into Yardi System
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts into Yardi System
- Assist with year-end audits and provide documentation to auditors
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Accounts Receivable – Oversee A/R including which includes, billing tenants, track payments, and collections
- Accounts Payable – Process and manage accounts payable for property-related expenses, ensure proper invoice coding, process timely payment to vendors, investigate and reconcile vendor accounts

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a 4-year college or university
- Minimum 4 years’ Real Estate experience required
- Yardi experience is highly preferred
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
