Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality, presentation, and taste of all food items
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Work with Nutritional Assistant(s) and Executive Chef to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role in the restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and culinary trends
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Skills
- Restaurant or facility kitchen experience
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions, allergies, and substitutions

Schedule
Schedule would be Wednesday - Sunday. Monday and Tuesday would be off days.
Summary
As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen management, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Reporting to the Nutrition Manager, you will utilize your core skills in inventory management and food service to maintain efficient operations. Your premium skills in team management and fine dining experience will be essential in leading kitchen staff and delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our patients. With a strong emphasis on communication and collaboration, you will contribute to a positive dining atmosphere and uphold our facility's reputation for excellence.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
