Stock Market Research Assistant / Junior Stock Trader

A little more about our company. We are a 100% online company teaching about the stock market. We have a thriving Youtube channel and social media presence and most of our work is done remotely or out of the owners home (which consist of a podcast studio, and a full video production live streaming studio).

Responsibilities:

Big picture

• Stock market support - find and prescreen stock trades for lead trader (willing to train)
• Marketing support - find stock market educational training opportunities
• Community support - reply to stock market questions in our stock trading community online forums.

Little picture

• Find stocks for the lead trader that are getting ready to move big to the upside or downside using our scanning software and our "3P" system
• Record video analysis of stock market and individual stocks (once trained) to share insight with our community of individual stock traders based on our "3P system"
• Support with new stock trader onboarding, walking them through how to use our educational platform to get off to a good start.
• Marketing support (research stock market topics and trading educational video ideas)
• Create daily and weekly stock market topics to engage community discussion in the online stock trading forums
• Support with zoom stock trader office hours and monthly Q&A sessions

Qualifications:

• Personal knowledge and experience of the stock market (you don't need to be an expert and although we are willing to train, this is not a position for someone who has never looked at the stock market or is brand new to the stock market).
• Ability to prioritize importance of task
• Ability to focus on one task and see it through to completion
• Excellent written, verbal, video communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• ​Strong organizational skills
• Positive, I can do anything attitude
• Resourceful (i.e. able to Google basic answers)

Bonus Qualifications but not required.

• Experience using a MAC (preferred but not required)
• Experience creating Youtube style talking head videos or talking on zoom

Ideal Candidate

This position is ideal for someone who is fascinated by the stock market, follows the stock market on a somewhat regular basis. Want's to break into the financial and investing industry in a non-corporate environment.

This is an entry level non- licensed position (we will not consider you if you have an active/practicing series 6, 63, 7 license). We do not provide financial advice, just education.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
