About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Account Manager to oversee a team of 30 employees across first, second, and weekend shifts at a demanding industrial facility. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Supervise and mentor a team of 30 employees across all shifts.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts.
Proactively address client concerns and ensure their needs are met.
Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and enhance client satisfaction.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee all aspects of janitorial operations within the scope of work.
Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage across all shifts.
Monitor inventory levels and equipment usage to optimize efficiency.
Conduct regular site evaluations and audits to maintain high-quality standards.
Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Manage budgets and control expenses.
Safety & Compliance:
Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations.
Oversee the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all labor laws.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required.
Experience: 2-5 years of proven management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Experience managing teams of 30 employees across multiple shifts is highly desirable.
Skills:
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and forklift certification are a plus.
Physical Demands:
Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods.
May require bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment for extended periods.
