Job Description
This role is responsible for providing direct care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work closely with our care team to develop and implement personalized service plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Responsibilities
- Resident Care: Provide hands-on care, including assistance with ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Participate in the development and implementation of PSPs that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a safe and clean environment by completing assigned housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dusting, and cleaning. Ensure high-risk rooms are double-checked for cleanliness and safety.
- Security and Safety: Respond promptly to security system alerts and resident call bells. Take appropriate action to ensure resident safety and well-being.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; preference given to those with experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.
- Certifications/Licenses: Must possess current certifications and licenses as required by state regulations.
- Work Experience: Previous experience working in assisted living or memory care environments preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, bending, and transferring residents.
