Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational efficiency.
- Lead, train, and develop the team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, creating a positive, engaging, and high-performance work environment.
- Maintain financial responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure a smooth and consistent guest experience, managing any customer concerns or issues with professionalism.
- Handle inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring proper stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Monitor health, safety, and liquor laws compliance, ensuring the team follows all regulations.
- Collaborate with marketing to implement promotional strategies, events, and campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regular patrons, creating a welcoming, memorable experience for all guests.
- Hire, onboard, and train new staff members to meet the standards of excellence at The Cage.
- Maintain bar ambiance and cleanliness, overseeing the overall presentation and upkeep of the venue.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or in a senior management role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or upscale casual environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- In-depth knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and financial analysis.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts in a professional and calm manner.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and liquor laws.
- Proven track record of driving sales, controlling costs, and managing budgets.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
