Job Description
The Freight Forwarding Sales Executive will lead the charge to develop new commercial business in the U.S.
- You’ll be responsible for identifying new clients and selling our logistics solutions.
- A hunter mentality is a must in this role.
- You’ll work collaboratively with our operations team to implement services and solutions for your clients and support our growth goals.
- Build market position by locating, developing, defining and closing new business; arrange daily business development meetings with prospective clients
- Become a subject matter expert on our services offered, and remain up to date on industry related news
- Meet weekly with operations management and develop close and cooperative working relationships with operations staff to ensure customer needs and company objectives are being met
- Develop a growth strategy and set quotas focused both on financial gain and profitability to meet ambitious revenue targets
- Follow up with new clients and operations to ensure a seamless implementation when onboarding new clients
- Perform market research to continually identify new pipeline opportunities, presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers
Requirements:
- 5 years of proven sales success in freight brokerage, logistics, freight forwarding, specialized freight, and ground transportation.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Highly organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple client interactions efficiently
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop solutions for complex supply chain challenges
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree required
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
