The Department of Management and Human Resource Management at California State University, Long Beach is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management position. While all HRM and OB-related teaching expertise will be considered, expertise in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion or Total Rewards would strongly complement our current faculty’s expertise and interests.
Required Qualifications :
- Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Management with a focus on HRM / OB, Labor Relations, Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Sociology or Ethnic Studies with a focus on people in organizations, or other related areas. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree by August 1, 2025.
- Demonstrated potential to effectively teach and engage in curriculum development for Human Resource Management and / or Organizational Behavior subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Demonstrated potential for successful research, and scholarly and creative activities leading to publications.
- Demonstrated potential to contribute in service roles to the department, college, university, and community.
- Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including Black / African American, Latine / x, Native American / Indigenous, low-income, first-generation, and minoritized students.
