Job Summary
The Retail Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and engaging experience for customers. They will be responsible for hiring and managing a team, training employees to provide exceptional service, maintaining store presentation, and upholding our high standards of product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Be the face of The Caramel Tree—greet every customer with warmth and enthusiasm.
- Naturally share the story behind our handcrafted caramels and create an engaging experience.
- Ensure every visitor leaves feeling valued and excited about our products.
- Encourage product sampling and upselling in a way that feels genuine and fun.
Store Operations & Team Leadership
- Recruit, hire, and train retail employees who are confident, capable, and aligned with our brand values.
- Lead and motivate the team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage staff schedules and ensure proper store coverage.
- Maintain a clean, inviting, and well-organized store environment.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing and workflow efficiency.
Inventory & Cash Handling
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely restocking.
- Handle cash register operations with precision and trustworthiness.
- Ensure all transactions and store deposits are completed securely and accurately.
