- Monitor and record vital signs as needed to maintain client health.
- Help clients engage in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in personal care homes or group homes.
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies appropriately.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop individualized care plans.
Experience
- Previous experience in personal care, senior care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with lifting techniques and the ability to assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus.
