We are hiring an experienced, self-driven, motivated Admissions Coordinator for our central intake in Baton Rouge, LA

Job Duties:
- Assisting with the coordination of patient admission and transfer process
- Complete insurance verification and authorization
- Communicate with clinical liaisons regarding patient status
- Assist with Medicaid application process
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess previous working experience with insurance companies to include verifications, authorizations and referrals.
- Excellent customer service skill required to answer incoming calls, meet with patients and family members and referring entities.
- Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a hospital setting.
