Cathedral School of St. Jude is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Aftercare staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in our Early Childhood Aftercare (EC2-EC4) program from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
**Qualifications:**
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have completed 40 hours towards Florida childcare certification within the first 90 days of employment
- Work well within a team setting.
- Be creative, enthusiastic, and energetic.
- Complete FBI Level II and DCF background screening.
**Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and monitor children during aftercare hours
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day
- Maintain a clean and organized aftercare space
- Assist with snack time help as needed
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to create a positive aftercare experience
**Schedule:**
- Part-time position
- Hours: 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Days: Monday through Friday
**Salary and Benefits:**
- Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
